It’s another morning in my kitchen office. Or….is it the same morning as yesterday? Since we are in continued isolation due to the terrible Corona virus threat running rampant through our weary world every day seems like the last. Just like in the Groundhog day movie. Up at 6:30. To the computer. Get to the email. figure out what my schedule is while confined. Contact clients. Handle incoming calls. The same repeat and repeat.
But look, I have NOTHING to really feel bad about. I am grateful, thank God, for all my blessings. I am thankful to be able to WORK while millions cannot. I am grateful for my blessed good health while thousands are dying. I thank the Lord everyday for my family’s staying free of the virus.
Let’s pray for all those first providers facing extreme danger- the doctors, nurses, policemen, firemen, and all the others who are out there serving us and helping us get through this national nightmare.
As for my personal groundhog day, I know that will end. I long for that day for then I will know this scourge on our nation will finally be over. Amen.
